Fused Deposition Model (FDM)

Metal Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is a sinter-based AM technology that involves two process steps to produce a metal part. A filament of metal and polymer is heated and applied to a platform in layers. To obtain the finished part, the printed green part must be sintered in the second process step.
