Lithography-based Metal Manufacturing (LMM) is a sinter-based AM process characterised by a two-step process. The feedstock is a combination of metal powder and photosensitive polymer binder. This feedstock is applied to a building platform and selectively cross-linked from above by means of mask exposure with UV light. Layer by layer, a green part is created. This green part is then debinded and sintered.
